A Handy Game

Reshaping the traditional marble maze game.

A Handy Game explores a new way to interact(play) with hands through physical computing. I was inspired by labyrinth—that are typically made into a wooden box with a maze on top of it. The main objective is to guide the marble from one end to another by tilting two axes, each of which is controlled by a knob.

How can I design a new set of controllers?

I want to preserve the form and look from the original labyrinth. I landed on Arduino with motors and ultrasonic sensors, the distance between a sensor to one hand determines the tilt angle of an axis controlled by the motors underneath.
Now, the user can play with the labyrinth without touching it.
